The new residence provides contemporary and secure living accommodation for our client and his family as well as serving as a representational venue for events and entertaining.
To protect the inhabitants from the excessive heat of North Africa the building structure has been constructed in in-situ concrete box clad in local stone, the window have deep reveals to shade the openings from the sun and the terraces have overhead pergolas that are effective sun shades.
The building preserves the main features of the existing site which are the existing garden and the mature trees. The main living areas are aligned facing the garden both for amenity and security. The more private areas for the client and his family sit towards the southern end facing its own private garden as well as the swimming pool.
